Teen Philanthropists Award $15,000 to Increase Opportunities for Youth in Reading

Class of 2019, PA Virtual graduate, Nicholas Griffith was a leader on the 2018-2019 Community Foundation's Youth Advisory Committee. This committee met during the school year to learn about philanthropy, discuss issues facing youth in the community, evaluate organizations that tackle those issues, and decide which groups will receive grants. The group identified four different organizations that would meet their goal of contributing to the improvement of "the atmosphere, opportunities, attractions, and living standards in the City of Reading" for its students.
