Mark Wasilko, Middle School Music Teacher, was nominated for Yamaha’s Music Educator 40 Under 40. The program is meant to highlight young music educators who inspire students, colleagues, and their community. He was nominated for his work at PA Virtual, overseeing a large number of students in middle school music.
He was also nominated for the assistance he provides to Grove City College, where he assists in the evenings with their video game music design project and used his skillset in cyber schooling to help their music department adapt during the height of closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
