A team of three PA Virtual High School students were selected as the District 6 winner for PennDOT's third Innovations Challenge. The team members include Layla Koon, Alysandra Chen, and Logan Seaver. They will move on to the statewide competition in Harrisburg on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
Mr. Zachary Mehal, PA Virtual High School Chemistry Teacher, has been overseeing the team and their project.
"The students have been amazing to work with. They have put in so much time, meeting sometimes as frequently as twice as week, to complete the project. I am so proud of them and happy for their success," Mr. Mehal said.
