On Friday, November 12, Logan Seaver, a senior from PA Virtual Charter School, had the opportunity to meet with Representative Milou Mackenzie (R — Northampton/Lehigh/Montgomery counties).

For the second year in a row, PA Virtual’s Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society has earned Governor Wolf’s Silver Civic Engagement Award.

PA Virtual’s Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society, led by High School History and Government teachers Ms. Svoboda and Mr. Davis, successfully earned the Governor’s Civic Engagement Silver Award.

The current school closures forced many teachers to re-evaluate how they engage with their students. Many of PA Virtual’s teachers have been leading the way in supporting their brick and mortar friends and colleagues by providing advice and training to teachers across Pennsylvania.
