This week and next, excitement is in the air at PA Virtual as our students are taking a combined total of 27 Advanced Placement (AP) exams through the College Board! These rigorous, college-level assessments represent months of preparation, focus, and dedication—and our students deserve a big round of applause.

Some students are sitting for their exams in local districts throughout Pennsylvania, while others are testing right here at our King of Prussia home base. In fact, this is the first year PA Virtual has been able to offer AP testing to our own students on a larger scale, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! It's a major step forward in supporting our learners and helping them reach their full academic potential.

Our Advanced Placement Program includes seven AP courses, all taught by our exceptional high school teachers. These courses challenge students with college-level content and prepare them not just for the exams, but for future academic success. Scoring well on an AP exam can earn students college credit, demonstrate academic readiness, and help them stand out in the college admissions process.

Beyond college applications, AP courses build essential skills that serve students long after the test is over—stronger study habits, greater confidence, and even the possibility of saving time and money in college by reducing the number of required courses.

We’re incredibly proud of every student who has taken on the challenge of AP this year. Whether you're testing in your local district or at our King of Prussia site, know that the entire PA Virtual community is cheering you on.

You’ve already achieved something remarkable by committing to this journey. Good luck, stay confident, and know that we believe in you!
