In Honor of Labor Day

Getting To Know You

What Did You Want To Be?

It's Labor Day weekend! The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City. According to the US Department of Labor, Labor Day "is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country."

In honor of work, we asked our staff about what they wanted to be when they were growing up. We got some great answers! And it's exciting to see how many of them have always wanted to be teachers...and are doing so today.

What did YOU want to be when you were growing up? Leave a comment and let us know!
